Unlike many wool detergents, Isager Wool Soap is completely free from lanolin, making it especially suitable for washing alpaca fibres. Alpaca hairs are naturally hollow, giving them their exceptional warmth and lightness. Washing alpaca with detergents containing lanolin can gradually fill these hollow fibres, causing the yarn to lose its signature loft over time. Isager Wool Soap gently cleans while helping alpaca retain its natural softness and airy feel.

The mild formula is equally suitable for all wool fibres, as well as plant-based and blended yarns such as Isager Trio and Isager Bomulin. Made with renewable, plant-based ingredients including soapwort extract, it provides effective yet gentle care without unnecessary additives.

For those who enjoy a lightly scented wash, simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil.
