Edited by Maija Kangasluoma and Tiia Pyykkö, with patterns contributed by around 50 different designers. Fifty one are knitting patterns and one is crochet, spanning lace, cables, ribbing and textured stitches, so there is real variety even within the one skein limit.

How it is structured

The book is a collection of 52 projects, one for each week, moving across hats, socks, shawls, cowls, collars, hoods, headbands, mitts and mittens. With close to 50 designers contributing, the techniques and styles shift from project to project rather than following one single approach throughout.
