The extra fine merino wool makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for an
incredibly comfortable skin feel. A little biodegradable nylon is added for extra durability.
This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next-to-skin project
(scarves, jumpers, baby clothes, etc.) as well as any project that requires a little
more durability, like socks and mittens.
Environmentally friendly and durable: biodegradable nylon, a new innovation in fibre technology, decomposes completely and causes a much smaller environmental impact than normal nylon. Unlike conventional nylon, which takes decades, to decompose, biodegradable nylon takes only about five years.., to fully degrade under landfill conditions.
Biodegradable nylon does not decompose during normal use and is as strong to landfill as normal nylon.
